This is a strong plastic/polypropylene shield that was made to take a hit and disperse the energy away from the chest/heart area. The foam used makes it comfortable to wear and also helps with the dispersement of energy.
This is the largest polypropylene plate available and it does not restrict movement in any way. Kids learn faster and with greater confidence. When worn under the uniform, it is virtually invisible.
